Reservations for the 2010 Governor's Hurricane Conference must be made on-line through the link below or by using the Hotel Reservation Request Form.
Please be aware that a company called Convention Expo Travel has been contacting potential GHC exhibitors claiming they represent the GHC and can book hotel rooms for the May conference at a reduced rate. This company is not an agent of the GHC. We are advising both exhibitors and attendees to ignore these calls. There are numerous references on the Internet, including Better Business Bureau reports, indicating that this could be a scam that could result in a loss of funds for you and/or your agency.
We have negotiated reduced group rates at our official GHC hotels. All hotel reservations for exhibitors and attendees should be made through the GHC Housing Bureau. Our Housing Bureau will not contact you unless they receive an email, fax or phone call asking for assistance and they would identify themselves as a Housing Representative for Governor’s Hurricane Conference.
We are pleased to announce that one of our conference hotels has recently undergone a multi-million dollar renovation. Formerly the Sheraton Yankee Clipper, the newly renovated Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel is now accepting reservations for conference attendees.
