NOAA hurricane experts to attend Governor’s Hurricane Conference
National Hurricane Center director and specialist available for media interviews 

NOAA’s National Hurricane Center Director Richard Knabb, Ph.D., and senior hurricane specialist Daniel Brown will attend the 30th annual Governor’s Hurricane Conference in Orlando, Fla., from May 11 & 12 and will be available for one-on-one interviews.

Hurricane specialists from the National Hurricane Center, part of the National Weather Service, will join experts from other federal, state and local agencies, emergency managers, first responders and others for training courses, workshops and panel discussions on tropical cyclones and storm mitigation.
