This workshop will include a general “State of Public Assistance” overview and a presentation of the most current updates in Public Assistance here in the State of Florida such as the new policy on $1M Large Project Threshold: Enhanced Small Project Procedures. This session will introduce attendees to FEMA’s August 2022 rule change to the Public Assistance Program’s Simplified Procedures Large Project Threshold, explore FEMA’s subsequent policy guidance, and discuss the procedural changes to Small Projects that FDEM is making in response.
