This session will discuss the training, drills, and variable issues that school districts in Florida need to be prepared for utilizing a true multi-hazard approach.  We will discuss how State mandates regarding enhanced drills and awareness training bring teachers, administrators, and support staff together for real world training and events.  State mandates vs best practices vs real world events and the Orange County School District’s perspectives.
