As Assistant County Manager for Lee County, Glen helps lead 3,000 employees serving a population of nearly 900,000 residents. During his tenure, he has directed disaster relief and recovery programs, including $134 million in CARES Act funded services to individuals, businesses, local governments, and nonprofit agencies; a $149 million American Rescue Plan Act Recovery & Resilience Plan for infrastructure, public health, and economic development; and two direct CDBG-DR allocations totaling $1.2 billion aimed at revitalizing storm-impacted communities. A former Navy Seabee and Congressional Legislative Assistant, Glen holds a degree in public administration and is a summa cum laude graduate of the Northern Illinois University College of Law.
